I was born and raised here in Glendale, AZ and my appreciation for music started at a really young age. I was giving more of my time and attention to sports until I hurt my back in high school wrestling. That might have been one of the best things that ever happened to me because I didn’t have much else to do but pick up a guitar and write songs. That eventually led to starting bands and fueled my love of collaborating with others musically. I became a Christ follower at the end of my senior year in high school, but it took a long time of people trying to convince me to lead worship before I finally gave it a shot. I never thought I would actually become a “Worship Leader”, but God has brought me through a journey of full-time worship leadership for the past 10 years at 3 churches.
My beautiful wife Holly and I have been married for 7 years. She works at the Make-A-Wish foundation and aids in creating life changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Together, we love to travel, hang out with our dog Gibbard and explore for new favorite spots in downtown Phoenix. I also love to cook, hike and go camping.
I believe that anything we can offer to God in our lives, whether it be our actions, talents or service to others is an act of worship. I believe God delights in the sound of the praises of his people and corporate worship is a time to realign our hearts with God while we sing scriptural truths in His presence. Hopefully this inspires us to go out and live a life of worship before God and others. I feel incredibly thankful that I get to lead the amazing people of Life Church in worship.
